One builds the outcome directly.

The other builds capacity to deliver outcomes.

One is tied 1:1, effort to outcome.

The other compounds.

Working in these types of systems makes you attuned to the nuance.

Because you can scale bad outcomes just as easily as good ones if the spine of the meta system is twisted.
